New York, NY — Levin & Associates, PLLC is pleased to announce that Duncan Levin has been appointed to the faculty of Columbia Law School as a Lecturer on Law, where he will begin teaching in the fall. He will teach in the areas of financial crime, money laundering, and asset forfeiture, as well as the legal and constitutional issues that surround those fields.
Mr. Levin will also continue teaching as a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, where he teaches “Cash, Crime, and the Constitution: The Legal Frontiers of Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering,” along with Trial Advocacy. His academic work focuses on the intersection of criminal law, financial regulation, and constitutional principles, drawing directly from his extensive experience in both government service and private practice.
In addition to his academic appointments, Mr. Levin will continue his full-time legal practice as Managing Partner of Levin & Associates, PLLC, where he represents clients in complex criminal, regulatory, and investigative matters. His work spans white-collar defense, asset forfeiture, anti-money laundering, and high-stakes litigation.
“Teaching has become one of the most meaningful aspects of my professional life,” said Levin. “I am deeply honored to join the faculty at Columbia Law School while continuing my work at Harvard, and to engage with students on issues that have shaped my career and continue to define modern legal practice.”
The dual appointment reflects Mr. Levin’s standing in the field of financial crime and his ongoing contributions to both legal practice and legal education.
